Last night I had a dream...I woke up heartbroken.
The dream begins with a young man wearing fatigues
who is packing to go away. His wife is watching, she
asks where it is that he will be going. He gives her
a look and says "Iraq." I feel as if I am the woman
in the dream but she looks nothing like me. He says
he will be patrolling on the ground as a foot
soldier. They both want to talk about death but
don't know what to say...he tells her “The others
are at the bars in town." He is spending his last
night with his wife. She looks at him and says "I
can break your arm" and she means it! He says "It
won’t do any good I would still have to go...arms
heal." The lights go out and he lies next to her
fully clothed in uniform. He lies his head on her
chest, so much they want to say and so little they
can talk about without breaking down and crying. She
wants to be strong; she kisses his forehead and
tells him when he is there that he has to keep his
focus. She tells him to imagine chocolate ice cream
with chocolate fudge, how it tastes and feels. He
says he can see it and she says to go to that place
in his head and focus only on home, coming home.
Soldiers that return home safely are guided by
intuition and gut feelings. "Focus on coming home"
she says.
I wake up with my heart hurting...it felt real. I
felt like I had walked in someone else's shoes...I
couldn't fall back to sleep with this pain in my
heart, knowing that this was happening to two people
I don't know, right now! Not being able to see, feel
or discuss the pain. Shutting down all systems
(chakras) to survive.
If we are going to bring heaven here to earth we are
going to have to keep our energy flowing, all of our
chakras open. Every time we feel blocked we are
stopping the flow. How can inspiration work through
us if our hearts or closed? We have to do this
together, there is no other way.
Join me in doing our daily chakra prescriptions.
